Lori is a skilled marketing research consultant, developing data collection methodologies that obtain the most valuable information from insightful and important members of the marketplace. She is also a talented and skilled focus group moderator, annually conducting over 50 groups nationwide. She engages participants and probes for the real motivations behind purchase decisions and brand images.
Her expertise is in research design methodologies, statistical analysis and quantitative research methods. Lori’s reports are insightful, powerfully written managerial documents that highlight the key findings and provide direction for strategic planning and innovation.
Lori brings 45 years marketing research and consulting experience to your projects. Lori joined GLM in 1978, and became an owner in 1985. She earned a doctorate in strategic marketing with minors in statistics and international business. Her academic training combined with front-line experience makes her a valuable business partner.
Amelia has years of expertise in both quantitative and qualitative studies. She is experienced in working with large database samples, multi-faceted research inquiries, implementing random sampling designs, balancing research data to population demographics, and analyzing data of the research findings.
Amelia’s projects include various types of satisfaction survey research, advertising research, and product evaluation. She is the Operations and Resource Planning Manager for long-term projects. She also coordinates all resources and fieldwork for GLM. Amelia is also bilingual and serves as the liaison to international clients for Operation: Safe Child, GLM’s child-resistant package testing division.
Amelia’s years of experience are reflected in her work. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a master’s degree in International Business/Marketing from The University of Toledo.
Ben brings nearly fifteen years of marketing research experience to all projects he is involved in. He is an experienced manager of large databases, multi-faceted research inquiries, unique research methodologies, data analysis and implementing and managing fieldwork. He has completed extensive and complex online studies for a multitude of clients using proprietary and national panels.
Some online projects Ben has recently completed involve the educational industry, financial industry and state and county public entities. He has completed complex online studies with both large and small companies. Many of his quantitative and qualitative projects have included satisfaction studies in the financial and health care spectrum.
Ben earned his degree in Marketing from the College of Business at the University of Toledo.
Laura is an experienced manager of quantitative and qualitative studies, skilled in working with large survey samples and balancing research data to population demographics. She has expertise in data analysis, report writing and presentation of the research findings. She is the resident report editor and qualitative interviewing research expert for GLM.
Laura has been instrumental in creating research tools for conducting studies with consumers, CEOs and students. Her projects include satisfaction and awareness studies for clients in the health care, financial, and consumer products industries, advertising research, as well as survey research for state and county public entities.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from The University of Michigan and worked in consumer product sales and marketing for Procter & Gamble before joining Great Lakes Marketing. She combines her academic background and her marketing experience to work with clients to successfully meet their research objectives.
Andrew first joined the GLM team in 2019 as a Research Assistant. Upon his graduation with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toledo in May of 2020, he was promoted to Project Manager. Andrew has experience working with qualitative and quantitative data in various industries and is proficient in interpreting data to help clients make informed business decisions.
During his time at GLM, Andrew has developed a thorough understanding of market research methodologies through his involvement with online and telephone surveys, individual interviews, intercept interviews, and focus groups. He has been involved in every aspect of a market research study and understands the processes that make them successful.
Andrew graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018 and a Master of Business Administration in 2020.
Deb coordinates day-to-day aspects of Operation: Safe Child, a child-resistant safety package protocol testing program operated by GLM. Deb oversees product testing schedules, assigning resources based on priorities, deadlines and quotas needed to efficiently finish every study. She is also the primary liaison with senior citizen testing sites. Deb also compiles test results, ensures the accuracy of the data, and assists in creating final reports for each study.
Deb has been with GLM since 2007, and in her personal time, she is very involved with her children and Sylvania Southview athletic programs.
